Meet the Tutors

Gabriel is a UC Berkeley graduate who has spent over eight years helping San Diego students reach their academic goals.

He tutors students one on one across subjects, with particular expertise in higher-level math, STEM, and writing, and he also teaches SAT and ACT preparation and college counseling.

He also helps families find selected academic tutors across San Diego.

Juliana is a bilingual English and Spanish tutor with experience working with students of all ages since 2013.

She specializes in Spanish tutoring for all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, helping students strengthen their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, conversation skills, and confidence.

She also provides homework help and exam preparation in basic elementary school subjects.

Juliana has a Bachelor's Degree from CSUSM and is a California Certified Court Interpreter with 10 years of professional interpreting experience.

Nicolas specializes in humanities subjects, including writing, history, and related disciplines.

He has experience tutoring high school and college students, as well as individuals preparing for professional exams.

By helping students develop critical thinking skills and a deeper grasp of the material, Nicolas equips them with the tools to succeed both academically and beyond the classroom.

His personalized approach has helped students improve their performance and build lasting confidence in their abilities.

Lindsey is currently completing her Master's in Education with an emphasis in Social and Emotional Learning.

With experience teaching in classrooms and tutoring one-on-one, she specializes in creating personalized learning experiences that help students build confidence and reach their full potential.

She strives to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, overcome challenges, and develop a genuine love for learning.

Gabriel is a student at San Diego State University with a major in aerospace engineering.

When he is not in the library studying or tutoring, he is out on the beach teaching surf lessons or water skiing with the SDSU Waterski Team.

Gabriel's tutoring specialties include all levels of elementary school, middle school, and high school mathematics and physics, with a teaching style that emphasizes understanding the “why” of the problem in order to gain a firm grasp of the concept.

Neha is a Computer Engineering student at the University of Michigan with a strong passion for STEM education.

Having studied AP Physics, Computer Science, Calculus, Statistics, and Chemistry, she brings a well rounded academic background to her tutoring sessions.

She enjoys breaking down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps, meeting students at their own pace.

Outside of academics, she enjoys rock climbing, competitive ping pong, pumpkin painting, and making mango popsicles.
